About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Fort Worth, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LPC or LCSW) for their Day Neuro program, with some additional Inpatient rehabilitation support. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The hospital emphasizes exceptional, patient-centered care through teamwork, compassion, and clinical experience, fostering a collaborative culture where psychology staff are vital to patient recovery and independence. The Department of Psychology is looking for a candidate with experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting to provide individual, group, and family counseling, and to educate patients and families on the psychological aspects of recovery from various medical conditions. The Day Neuro Program focuses on individuals with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury, aiming for return to work, school, community engagement, and driving. Inpatient rehabilitation provides comprehensive services to maximize functional independence for patients with conditions like stroke, brain injury, and amputation.

Requirements

Master’s degree appropriate to position.
Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and ability to integrate into a transdisciplinary team environment.
BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)
