About The Position
MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LICSW) to provide high-quality care to seniors. This role offers the autonomy of a private practice without the administrative burden, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care, documentation, and facility correspondence. You will work on-site as part of an interdisciplinary team, addressing residents' emotional, social, and psychological needs. The position involves providing initial assessments, utilizing psychotherapy, offering ongoing support, and managing all documentation requirements, including staying updated on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans. Requirements
- Master's degree
- Valid LICSW/LMFT/LPC license in the state for which you are applying
- Two years of counseling and therapy experience
- Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to foster open communication with the facility team and your Regional Clinical Manager
- Ability to take initiative
- Effectively communicate in multiple settings with multiple parties (patient, patient’s family, nursing staff, facility social services team, other MPAC providers, etc.)
- High level of organization to manage patient needs, document effectively and ensure the mental health needs of residents are being met
- Comfortable with the ever-changing environment of a skilled nursing facility
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong medical knowledge
- Understanding of documentation (CMS, Medicare, Medicaid)
- Nursing home/ hospital facility experience
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans
- Experience in the healthcare setting
- Passion for working with older adults
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience in the nursing home space is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide initial assessments
- Utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues
- Offer ongoing support to residents and their families
- Be responsible for all documentation requirements
- Keep up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans
- Function as an active, lead member on an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners

- Manage your caseload and schedule
