About The Position

This is a 13-week travel contract for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at a short-term acute care facility in Oregon City, Oregon. The position floats between three ministries (PWF, PMH, and PNB) and provides acute behavioral health emergent assessments and care management. Assessments are performed across all ages in the Emergency Department. Most shifts are day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Swing shift coverage in the Emergency Department, approximately 4:00 PM to midnight, is also required on a rotating basis. Shifts will rotate, with an effort to provide a pattern when possible. Alternating weekends are required. On-call work is not required. The facility has 109 staffed beds, uses Epic for charting, and has a patient ratio of 1:16. The role floats between units. Scrubs of any color are acceptable; scrubs for the OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child areas are provided. Parking is free.

Requirements

Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
Oregon state LCSW licensure.
Comfort performing acute behavioral health assessments for patients of all ages in the Emergency Department.
Care management experience.
Ability to float between multiple units and ministries.
Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including swing shift coverage.
