About The Position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide social services in a short-term acute care hospital setting. The role may float between units and, preferably, between all three ministries: PWF, PMH, and PNB. The position is open to a 13-week assignment. Shifts will rotate, with a pattern provided when possible.

The preferred background includes care management and discharge planning on medical/surgical floors, along with the ability to conduct acute behavioral health assessments for patients of all ages in the Emergency Department. The expected staffing ratio is 1:16. On-call is not required; alternating weekends are required.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Ability to float between all three ministries (PWF, PMH, and PNB) is preferred.
• Experience with Emergency Department behavioral health assessments is preferred.
• Care management and discharge planning experience on medical/surgical floors is preferred.
• Comfort conducting acute behavioral health assessments for all ages is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with both care management and acute behavioral health assessments.
• Ability to float between PWF, PMH, and PNB.
