This position involves performing clinical services within an Adult Crisis Center, including various therapy programs and techniques such as group and individual therapy, family and marital therapy, expressive therapy, crisis intervention and management, psychodrama, and problem-solving. The role requires maintaining and completing service documentation, conducting case reviews, determining treatment plans, and collaborating with external agents. Responsibilities also include attending staff meetings, writing correspondence on behalf of clients, conducting case presentations, and performing emergency evaluations for high-risk clients. The job may involve occasional exposure to the threat of bodily harm and normal work tasks may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue. The position may require the incumbent to be on twenty-four-hour call and necessitates reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites. Staff are expected to exercise principle-centered leadership, focus on customer service responsiveness, and maintain a continuous quality improvement orientation, while also developing a working knowledge of and following all policies and procedures related to safety management and Joint Commission standards.
