Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LCSW, LMHC, Psychotherapist
About The Position
UltaCare Medical is seeking a dedicated Clinical Social Worker to provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) to residents of a nursing home. The role offers an independent work environment and lets clinicians focus on therapy, as the company handles billing, credentialing, insurance, and other administrative tasks. The clinician may also provide psychotherapy to patients’ families and collaborate with facility staff and administration when appropriate to support an integrated patient experience. The position offers flexible Monday–Friday hours and the opportunity to support residents experiencing anxiety, depression, dementia, grief and loss, and other mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university.
- Active LCSW license in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to nursing home patients and, occasionally, their families.
- Collaborate with facility staff and administration, when appropriate, to provide an integrated patient experience.
- Document visit notes within 24 hours of each visit.
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to patients.
