About The Position
We’re looking for an LCSW to work with individuals and families in Nevada. This position involves getting a clear understanding of each client’s situation, helping determine the right course of care, and connecting clients with services and resources that can make a practical difference. You’ll work closely with clients and other professionals involved in their care. The role also calls for someone who stays current with changes in the field and is comfortable bringing new ideas and approaches into their work.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Active LCSW license in Nevada.
- Strong background in conducting assessments and creating actionable interventions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with older adults is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their needs and determine appropriate next steps
- Develop care plans based on each client’s circumstances and goals
- Work with other professionals to coordinate services when needed
- Help clients and families understand available mental health and community resources
- Provide guidance and education that clients can use outside of their sessions
- Keep up with current practices and apply relevant approaches to your work
- Maintain accurate records and follow professional and ethical requirements
