Clients may be working through grief, trauma histories, anxiety, depression, life pressure, relationship concerns, or major transitions. The position is listed in New Haven, but the daily work happens through a secure virtual care model. Requirements
- Active Connecticut LCSW license in good standing
- Comfort using telehealth tools, electronic documentation systems, and remote client communication
- Strong assessment skills, ethical judgment, and ability to manage a full-time caseload
- Ability to support clients with both emotional concerns and practical life stressors
- Clear writing skills and a reliable private workspace for virtual sessions
Responsibilities
- Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and care updates
- Use clinical social work skills to connect emotional needs with practical next steps
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow professional care standards
- Use sound clinical judgment when referrals or additional support may be needed
