About The Position
This full-time telehealth position is for an independently licensed LCPC in Kansas. The counselor will manage a regular adult caseload and provide ongoing therapy from intake through follow-up. The role focuses on direct client care, sound clinical decision-making, and maintaining required case documentation.
Requirements
- Active Kansas LCPC license in good standing.
- Master’s degree in counseling or another field that meets Kansas licensure requirements.
- Full independent clinical licensure.
- Experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient or behavioral health setting.
- Comfort managing a caseload and working independently through telehealth.
- Familiarity with EHR documentation and standard clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled individual counseling sessions by video.
- Complete intake evaluations and review relevant background information.
- Determine the focus and direction of treatment.
- Provide therapy for a range of behavioral and emotional health concerns.
- Keep progress notes and clinical records current.
- Respond appropriately when client needs or risk levels change.
- Coordinate referrals when services outside counseling are needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all client interactions.
