About The Position
The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in this role will provide virtual counseling services to clients across North Carolina. This position involves evaluating client concerns, delivering individualized therapy, maintaining accurate clinical records, and supporting clients as they work through challenges affecting their mental health and overall quality of life.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LCMHC license
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical or telehealth setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable using virtual care platforms and electronic health records
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy sessions through a secure online platform
- Conduct assessments and identify treatment priorities
- Use evidence-based counseling methods during sessions
- Monitor progress and make treatment adjustments as needed
- Complete progress notes and required documentation on time
- Follow state, ethical, and professional care guidelines
