About The Position

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time licensed clinical counselor for its outpatient clinic in Conway, South Carolina. The counselor provides timely clinical interventions and treatment services to individuals and families experiencing addiction and co-occurring disorders. The position requires availability five days per week, Monday through Friday, including some evening hours as needed. There are no on-call hours.

Requirements

• An LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, or LMSW license is required.
• A master’s degree in a human service-related field is required.
• Ability to use clinical judgment while working independently at times.
• Self-directed.
• Available to work five days per week, Monday through Friday, including evening hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments during open access, as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention services to call-in and walk-in clients, as needed.
• Assist clinical staff with case staffing, placement decisions, and treatment methods and materials.
• Learn and implement evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Participate in weekly team meetings, share ideas, and communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Maintain accurate records as required by OSUS, Medicaid, and agency policies and procedures.
• Maintain current licensure and/or certification necessary for the position.
• Maintain client charts to quality standards for clinical content and timely entry, as established by OSUS, Medicaid, and agency policies and procedures.
• Provide the required amount of direct service time each week.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
