About The Position

Grace Community Care & Homes is developing its Addiction Treatment and Recovery department and seeks a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. The role will contribute to person-centered services, reliable operations, and accurate documentation. The position is planned; its start date and duties are contingent on applicable program approvals, funding, credentialing, and staffing readiness. Services may begin only within the approved scope. The role is based in New Jersey, with administrative coordination through Grace and on-site or community assignments as applicable. Clinical services will begin only at approved locations and within authorized scope. The position is part-time, with assignment and weekly schedule discussed during hiring. Pay is $30–$40 per hour, based on qualifications and relevant experience. Paid time off is provided under company policy, including applicable earned sick leave. No other benefits or bonuses are currently offered.

Requirements

Active New Jersey LCADC credential or another license explicitly permitting the assigned clinical services.
Relevant addiction treatment experience.
Applicants should provide relevant credentials, experience, availability, and a resume.
Final regulatory eligibility will be verified before appointment or service delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide substance use assessments, counseling, recovery treatment planning, and care coordination.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with the clinical team.
Work collaboratively with department leadership, intake, credentialing, billing, and quality teams.
Maintain confidentiality, respect participant choice, communicate service gaps promptly, and follow role-specific policies and professional scope.
Participate in orientation, competency review, and quality improvement.
