South Metro Animal Emergency Care is a growing, 24/7, AAHA-accredited emergency hospital in Apple Valley, Minnesota, seeking credentialed veterinary technicians to practice at the top of their license. Technicians have a voice in patient care, treatment decisions, and hospital flow, and work directly with veterinarians in a collaborative, technician-forward environment. Staffing is typically two CVT/LVTs and two veterinary assistants per doctor. Cases include toxins, foreign bodies, urinary obstructions, respiratory emergencies, trauma, surgical emergencies, and hospitalized or critical patients. The hospital offers 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with swing and overnight options. Experienced emergency technicians and general-practice technicians transitioning to emergency medicine are encouraged to apply.
