About The Position

Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) is seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals (LBHPs) to join their team and support individuals in their recovery and wellness journey. This role involves working within a robust treatment team to provide care for adults, focusing on comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services. The position offers a collaborative environment across various departments, including outpatient services, admissions, and children's mental health. COCMHC is known for its commitment to top-notch services and provides excellent state benefits. The facility itself has a rich history, being the nation's first community mental health center, and plays a pivotal role in restoring lives in the community. They are CARF accredited in several programs and employ approximately 95 individuals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field.
  • Must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH).
  • For those under supervision: Must be actively and regularly receiving board-approved supervision and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the specified licensure boards.
