About The Position

This fully remote associate attorney role is designed for a Minnesota-licensed family law attorney. The attorney will manage family law cases with the support of experienced paralegals, dedicated support staff, and proven firm systems that help ensure efficiency and high-quality client service. Although the position is remote, in-person attendance is required for court appearances, mediations, and client meetings when necessary.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Minnesota Bar
• 2+ years of Minnesota family law experience
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Comfortable using legal technology, including Clio, MS Office, and other business software
• Collaborative, professional, and client-focused

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Minnesota family law matters from start to resolution
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and hearings
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement documents
• Advise clients on legal strategy and next steps
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to move cases forward
• Track deadlines and case tasks using firm systems
