Ellie Mental Health was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing therapy and filling the gaps often left by our healthcare system. Our outpatient clinic is structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health care. We are seeking licensed mental health professionals to work with couples and families of all ages in a private practice setting. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or higher in behavioral sciences or a related field
  • License to practice therapy in the state of Michigan (LCSW, LLMSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, et. al.)
  • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced couples’ counselors, eager to work with couples and families
  • Post-grad training in an EBP (such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, etc.), a plus
  • Candidates that may be looking to grow into leadership roles/supervisors
  • Creative and innovative approaches to mental health care
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing in a private practice setting
  • A great sense of humor won’t hurt—we love to laugh!

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, then create and implement a treatment plan
  • Complete ongoing documentation (including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes) in a timely manner
  • Maintain a caseload of 25+ client sessions per week
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
  • Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)
