Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), the TEAP Counselor supports our students through alcohol and drug counseling, prevention education and networking with community resources.
Requirements
- Valid Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) certification
- Two years of related experience
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Assess students to determine intervention needs
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Follow up on drug testing
- Develop activities to reinforce alcohol and drug-free lifestyle
- Conduct in-service training
