About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to launch and grow its local football operation in San Diego. This opportunity involves building and operating a local business and growing the Stranger Soccer brand and player community. The License Owner will work with Stranger Soccer’s Singapore headquarters, with support from operations and technology teams. Stranger Soccer makes playing football accessible and convenient through an app where players can discover games, book a spot, and turn up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company is expanding across cities worldwide. Its mission is to make playing football as easy as going for a jog, with a vision of making playing football as popular and accessible as watching it.
Requirements
- Passion for football and involvement in the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, or customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a business.
- Ability to take ownership and grow the Stranger Soccer brand locally.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a results-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer in San Diego.
- Build and manage a local team, including staff and Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues.
- Drive marketing and customer acquisition to grow the player community.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with Singapore headquarters, supported by operations and technology teams.
