About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial License Owner to launch and grow its local football operation in Northern Virginia. This opportunity is designed for someone who wants to build, operate, and grow a business while making a meaningful impact in the local community. The License Owner will develop a local team, secure football venues, grow the player community through marketing and customer acquisition, and oversee game operations and the player experience. They will work with Stranger Soccer’s Singapore headquarters and receive support from its operations and technology teams. Stranger Soccer is a Singapore-founded platform that helps players discover and book football games through its app. The company aims to make playing football simple, accessible, and convenient, and is expanding into cities worldwide.
Requirements
- Passion for football and involvement in the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, or customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a business.
- Ability to take ownership and grow the Stranger Soccer brand locally.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a results-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer in Northern Virginia.
- Build and manage a local team, including staff and Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues.
- Drive marketing and customer acquisition to grow the player community.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with the Singapore headquarters, supported by operations and technology teams.
