About The Position

The License Irrigator assesses, plans, leads, and performs commercial landscape irrigation projects, from site evaluation and system design through installation, testing, maintenance, repair, employee training, documentation, and customer turnover. The position evaluates water sources, pressure, coverage, landscape conditions, infrastructure, drainage, and customer specifications; identifies system deficiencies; develops layouts and selects components; and prepares labor, equipment, and material requirements. It leads irrigation fieldwork, troubleshoots and programs system components, coordinates excavation and site restoration, and maintains project records. The License Irrigator also communicates with customers and project stakeholders, inspects completed work, explains system operation, and reports project status and safety or material concerns.
