The position also involves providing courteous and respectful assistance to the public, performing duties requiring acute sensory awareness, creating a welcoming atmosphere, planning and delivering engaging library programs, handling program logistics, setting up and refreshing book displays, assisting with food-related events, tracking attendance statistics, setting up audio/visual technology, preparing program materials, maintaining the neatness of the Youth Services desk and displays, assisting with department improvement projects, participating in staff meetings and trainings, and maintaining confidentiality. The role requires excellent customer service and time management skills, and attendance is essential. Compliance with all relevant policies and procedures is crucial.
