About The Position
Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is seeking a Library Technician to assist library patrons with various services, manage library materials, train students, and coordinate interlibrary loans. This is a regular, clerical position within the Library department.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists library patrons with copies, circulation, computer, and research requests (40%)
- Manages Serials for the Library (15%)
- Trains work-study students and others in library processes (15%)
- Receives, processes, shelves and maintains materials for the library (25%)
- Coordinates Interlibrary Loan for the Helena, Stuttgart and DeWitt campuses (5%)
