About The Position
The Easton Area School District is seeking a Library Science Teacher as a long-term substitute at Easton Area High School. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate must demonstrate a strong academic record, excellent educational references, related experience, and knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete a series of interviews and meet all local requirements. Applicants must submit a complete application packet electronically through the District’s applicant tracking system. External applicants must provide a Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application, letter of interest, resume, three current letters of recommendation dated within one year, a copy of their teaching certificate, and college or university transcripts. Internal candidates need only submit a letter of interest electronically. The successful candidate must provide the required Pennsylvania criminal-record and child-abuse clearances and PDE 6004 form.
Requirements

- Must successfully complete a series of interviews and meet all local requirements.
- Successful candidate must provide Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
