About The Position

This work study position in the Collection Management department of University Libraries is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of books and other library materials. The schedule is flexible and can be arranged around classes and other obligations. The Collection Management department is responsible for purchasing, cataloging, processing, and ensuring both physical and electronic library materials are accessible to users.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous library experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of materials for the circulating collection.
• Perform basic repair of damaged materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
