About The Position
The LGO/Tauber Leadership Development Program at The Boeing Company is designed to attract and develop senior operations executives who will lead and promote excellence across the Boeing Product Lifecycle. This industry-leading program offers a unique opportunity to gain a systems-perspective of Boeing by rotating across various US-based sites, learning about services, products, and value streams. Participants will lead teams in diverse situations and environments and will have access to the larger LGO/Tauber alumni network within the company.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of the Leaders for Global Operations Graduate Degree Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Post offer applicants and employees are subject to drug testing.

Responsibilities
- Rotate positions every 12-18 months
- Develop and execute projects and process plans, implement policies/procedures, and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate the teams that you are leading
