About The Position
The LGBTQ+ Student Affinity Group Co-Sponsor is a support group for students who identify themselves on the LGBTQ continuum. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to receive support, in a safe environment, with others that share a similar experience. Research indicates that students that have an opportunity engage in a supportive environment at school show an increased ability to function and connect to the academic experience.
Requirements
- New Trier faculty member.

- Applicants who have personal experience with or knowledge of the needs of the LGBTQ population.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with co-sponsor to plan and implement group sessions.
- Attend mandatory weekly group meetings, which occur during rotating periods.
