About The Position
Provide leadership, supervision and organization of the activity team and carry out the objectives of the program. Help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem.
Requirements
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing identified tasks
- Exhibit high moral values and be able to serve as a favorable example to young people
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Responsibilities
- Instruct team members on activity
- Conduct team meetings and practices
- Register team members for tournament/competition
- Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices
- Inform team members of district rules and procedures
