About The Position

Big John Site Services is hiring a dependable, hardworking Level I Yard Technician (Make-Ready) for its Brownsville branch. This hands-on, physically active role is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing portable toilets, wash stations, and luxury restroom trailers for delivery. The technician also performs basic yard and shop upkeep, secures units and equipment for transport according to DOT procedures, and helps address issues that could delay pickups or deliveries. The role requires flexibility as customer needs and daily priorities change, and a professional, customer-first approach. The technician will train to serve as a backup pump truck driver and cover service routes when needed. Responsibilities

• Pressure wash, clean, and prepare portable toilets, wash stations, and luxury restroom units for delivery.
• Handle basic maintenance and upkeep around the yard and shop.
• Secure units and equipment for transport by chaining, strapping, and blocking according to DOT procedures.
• Help solve problems that could delay an on-time pickup or delivery.
• Adjust daily work as customer needs and priorities change.
• Maintain a professional, customer-first attitude.
• Train to serve as a backup pump truck driver and cover service routes when needed.
• Learn from team members and share proper work practices with new hires.
