About The Position

We're looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Level 6 Verifier to join our Awarding Body team and play a key role in maintaining the quality, consistency and integrity of our Level 6 marketing qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in marketing, education, assessment or awarding organisations who enjoys working collaboratively to ensure high standards in learning, assessment and qualification delivery. You'll work closely with examiners, assessment writers, content writers and Awarding Body colleagues to ensure our qualifications remain relevant, robust and aligned with both regulatory requirements and the needs of today's marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working as an examiner within Further Education, Higher Education, a professional body or awarding organisation.
  • Strong professional marketing experience and understanding of the marketing profession.
  • Experience of qualification, module or curriculum development.
  • Experience of assessment writing, marking and moderation.
  • A proven track record of maintaining consistent assessment standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams, either directly or through cross-functional leadership.
  • Knowledge of professional marketing competency frameworks.
  • Experience of content validation and qualification approval processes.
  • Familiarity with CIM qualifications and syllabi.

Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and support to Senior Examiners, Subject Examiners, Assessment Writers and Content Writers.
  • Supporting the recruitment, training and development of contractor teams.
  • Ensuring assessments, module content and support materials meet learning outcomes, qualification requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Participating in standardisation activities and overseeing marking and moderation processes.
  • Reviewing marking quality and consistency across the qualification level.
  • Producing reports and presenting findings at examination boards.
  • Supporting continuous improvement through quality reviews and feedback processes.
  • Validating module content, assessments and assessment methodologies.
  • Advising on qualification development and assessment best practice.
  • Reviewing assessment materials to ensure they are clear, accurate, fair and fit for purpose.
  • Providing subject matter expertise across marketing content and professional marketing competencies.
  • Supporting Accredited Study Centres and responding to assessment-related queries where required.
