About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a per-diem Level 1 Medication Aide to join our team at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center located in Fulton, Missouri. The Level 1 Medication Aide Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Nice To Haves
- Current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide
- Insulin certification preferred
- One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
