About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Levantine Arabic tutor for a one-to-one general course with a beginner-level student in Orlando, Florida. The student is a 35–44-year-old man learning Arabic for medical missions in Gaza and Syria. The course consists of 32 total hours, delivered as sixteen two-hour lessons. Lessons are scheduled once per week on flexible weekdays, based on the student's work rota, between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The start date is as soon as possible. Lessons will take place at the tutor’s office or home, or at a public location in Orlando. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. This is a freelance, part-time position. Language Trainers is unable to sponsor visas.

Requirements

• Be a native Arabic speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit or visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.
• Be able to work with a flexible weekday schedule between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., based on the student's work rota.

Responsibilities
