About The Position

The Specialist, Lending Solutions applies knowledge skills and experience to perform daily bank lending solutions tasks. The role is responsible for handling daily inbound and outbound phone hotline activities and operational tasks related to the Pledged Asset Line product, including transaction processing, money movements, account open and account maintenance support, and general PAL information. Charles Schwab Bank follows the three lines of defense model of risk governance. The Associate, Bank Operations is a first line of defense position for Charles Schwab Bank and assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal Bank regulations in the context of their responsibilities. Demonstrate passion, energy, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills while delivering outstanding service to our clients via inbound calls and outbound calls. Be a reciprocal member on a small team of professionals dedicated to resolving a variety of sophisticated client inquiries including, but not limited to; questions on Bank Lending applications in process and existing Bank Lending accounts, closing PAL’s, line decrease and increase requests, Maturing Bank Lending accounts, processing of journal requests, and facilitating Bank Lending advances and payments. Work with clients by phone to provide rate quotes, Bank Lending payments, payoffs and basic information on our lending products. Deliver exceptional client service while demonstrating ownership and accountability to ensure that all inquiries are handled efficiently and accurately. With a focus on service, the client experience and “one call resolution”, partner with and serve as a subject matter authority to internal Schwab employees and departments regarding the Pledge Asset Line product. Support the Bank Lending Team on the following functions. Wire verification Work with Bank Lending loans and communicate effectively with clients/Business Partners and/or Investment Advisors (IA) Existing Bank Lending account servicing

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of client service and/or operations experience
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and policies
  • Available for Monday through Friday shift somewhere between the hours of 8:30am est to 7pm est.
