About The Position

The Leisure Operations Support role provides customer service and full administrative support for all operational processes involved in selling travel for our leisure advisors. This position is 100% Remote. As a member of the North American support team, you will need a strong GDS background with at least 5 years GDS experience (Sabre required, Additional GDS helpful) is needed for a leisure support hybrid role. We are looking for someone with proven GDS and invoicing skills to work with leisure agents and Independent Contractors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years GDS /Travel Agency experience (GDS: Sabre required)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • GDS Experience with Sabre required
  • Demonstrated professional customer service skills

  • Experience in the ClientBase (CRM) or other similar discipline required

  • Additional GDS helpful
  • alternate GDS(Apollo/Amadeus/Wspan) a plus
  • Knowledge of Sabre or Apollo is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with both the Advisor support and Air teams in both US and Canada
  • Respond to written requests in timely fashion
  • Issue domestic and international tickets for leisure agents/ICs
  • Issue group space, individual reservations, exchanges and partial refunds as needed
  • Look for lowest fares and research airline contracts for negotiated commissions
  • Coordinate seat assignments
  • Resolve issues with invalid invoices in GDS/assist will new invoice requests in Sabre
  • Assist with tracking commission
