About The Position

State Representative Meg Weinberger is now accepting applications in her West Palm Beach, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature. This position may be eligible for virtual work. All virtual district employees must reside and work virtually in Florida.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
  • Pursuant to sections 112.3144 and 112.3145, F.S., this position is required to electronically file a Form 1 – Statement of Financial Interests with the Florida Commission on Ethics within 30 days of hire.

  • Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
