About The Position

Provides experienced-level legal support with a high degree of proficiency. Independently manages complex administrative processes, coordinates workflow, and may assist in training new support staff. This is a remote role within the continental United States. The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT. Requirements

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate's degree in Legal, Paralegal studies or related field required.
  • Requires 4+ years of progressive legal support experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and filing requirements required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with case management systems and legal software preferred.
  • Notary License preferred.
  • Accredited Legal Secretary (ALS) , CLS or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex document preparation and processing.
  • Coordinate and track multiple case files and legal matters simultaneously.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
  • Review documents for completeness and compliance with filing requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for junior support staff on procedures and processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships for legal services (e.g., court reporters, process servers).
  • Coordinate logistics for trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Reconcile billing and expense reports for legal matters.
  • Develop and maintain templates and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
