About The Position

This HR Generalist III opportunity is an important part of our global HR team, providing a broad range of HR support to our enterprise functions and other business partners and serving as the primary human resources contact & advisor to managers and employees. This role will be specifically supporting Global Supply Chain & Global Finance (on a corporate scale). Partners with peers in execution of HR programs and strategies, global team projects & initiatives, and provides innovative solutions that support and optimize the operating objectives of the business. The HR Generalist helps to mitigates risks and ensures compliance contributing to the long-term success of the company. This role will also independently carry out policies and programs covering several of the following: Employment, interviewing, salary administration, training, benefits & compensation administration, as well as labor relations. Assists in the development and implementation of HR programs including communications and leadership support.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist related role - preferably supporting operations teams within a manufacturing culture.
  • Experience in HR within a multi-national organization is preferred.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed/cross functional environment is preferred.
  • Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

  • Work with enterprise leaders to understand business needs, develop and deliver timely, comprehensive, and innovative solutions in support of Jabil's business & employees.
  • Creates strong internal business partner relationships with the ability to advise and influence.
  • Support and drive HR programs with alignment from COEs with accountability for results.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide recommended solutions.
  • Learn, grow, and develop HR capabilities in support of your career and business partners.
  • Responsible for understanding and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coaches/consults with managers and employees
  • Coordinate employee activities/programs.
  • Support investigations.
  • Monitor and approve applicable salary increases, job changes, or other transaction in Workday; check to see that they are within guidelines.
  • Support the compensation COE in preliminary job analysis, creates job descriptions with business leaders and communicates benchmarking results.
  • Communicate benefit and policy changes, supports training with managers and employees.
  • Educate employees about their benefits as needed.
  • Compiles and interpret reports for departments as needed including understanding of headcount, cost centers, and job changes.
  • Participates in team projects that address strategic initiatives as directed.
  • Act as a partner with department managers in conducting needs analysis.
  • Conduct trainings or exit interviews, as needed.
  • Ability to use excel and reporting in Workday.
  • Ability to create presentations and effectively deliver information, respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
