About The Position

Great American Insurance Group's Property & Casualty Legal Department is seeking a Legal Specialist, Marketing Compliance. This role will assist with the review of marketing materials, manage trademark matters, and undertake other projects within the department. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, seeking a dynamic career with work-life balance. Great American fosters a culture of connection, shared learning, and strong relationships, with employees expected to be on-site four days a week (core days Tuesday-Thursday) and one day remotely.

Requirements

Technology acumen: strong understanding of and ability to use technology solutions, such as Excel, SharePoint, and other software as service solutions.
Must have strong organizational, project and change management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate concisely with a wide variety of audiences.
Collaborative, adaptable, innovative, solution-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently, with a team, and across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Generally, a minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing, compliance, or trademark role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with the review of marketing materials, websites, promotions, and contests to ensure compliance with laws.
Assist with the management of Great American’s trademark portfolio.
Administer technology solutions related to the role.
Perform other duties as assigned.
