About The Position

ABC Legal Services is seeking independent process servers to deliver legal documents in Tennessee. Process servers can choose their own workload and service areas, claim jobs through the company’s mobile app, and work a flexible schedule outside a traditional office setting. ABC Legal provides training, tools, and support. Work includes making service attempts at varied times, with attempts required every 48 hours. Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required; registration and minimum-age requirements may vary by state.

Requirements

Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Must have an iPhone/iPad or Android smart device and be able to use a mobile app.
Must be able to scan and print documents.
Must be able to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Must be legally allowed to work in the United States, without work authorization.
Some states require process server registration; state laws may also set a minimum age to serve.

Nice To Haves

Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required.
Organized, independent, personable, and entrepreneurial approach; takes pride in work and enjoys connecting with people.

Responsibilities

Deliver legal documents in the assigned area.
Organize and plan routes, including choosing times when people are likely to be home.
Make service attempts at varied times, with attempts required every 48 hours.
Claim jobs, map stops, and track pay using the mobile app.
Scan and print documents.
