Legal Operations Specialist
About The Position
As Legal Operations Specialist, you will build the systems and infrastructure that enable a founding legal team to scale. You will evaluate and implement legal technology, establish and administer a contract lifecycle management system, and connect the legal team with cross-functional partners who rely on accurate contract data. This is a build-from-the-ground-up role focused on developing a well-instrumented legal function. The role initially reports to the General Counsel. Fireworks describes its legal team as high-integrity, high-trust, collaborative, supportive, and low-ego. The company builds AI infrastructure and provides specialized intelligence through state-of-the-art open models. Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant legal operations experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering contract lifecycle management, discovery management, legal billing, and other systems that enable a fast-moving legal function.
- Familiarity integrating legal systems with Salesforce.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with finance and revenue operations.
- Systems-thinking and a bias to action, with comfort building infrastructure from scratch.
- An AI-forward builder’s mindset and demonstrated ability to use AI tools to streamline daily workflows and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage legal technology vendors and service providers.
- Lead implementation and administration of the contract lifecycle management system.
- Partner with sales, finance, revenue operations, and other stakeholders to ensure systems provide the reporting, visibility, and deal insight they need.
- Build and own renewal and contract-obligation tracking and related workflows.
- Develop the processes, metrics, and infrastructure needed by a scaling legal function.
