About The Position

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Legal Intern to support our Legal team across employment litigation. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced in-house environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn about how the legal function supports a national restaurant brand.

Requirements

• Strong interest in corporate legal function
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
• Interest in employment or corporate law
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Employment eligibility to work with Yum! in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Participate in employment-related research, including policy development and tracking new federal/state regulations
• Shadow and support the Legal team in cross-functional meetings with departments such as HR and Operations
• Draft internal communications and assist with legal templates.
• Assist in organizing legal knowledge databases and supporting legal billing or administrative requests
