About The Position

As a Legal Implementation Specialist, you will guide customers to confident, independent use of the Luminance platform. This is a high-throughput role where you will manage multiple implementations concurrently, collaborating with Customer Success Managers and cross-functional teams like Product. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer objectives, configuring the platform for specific use cases, delivering training, and advising customers on effective and scalable ways of working. You will utilize and help refine established delivery patterns. This role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in legal technology, AI-enabled contracting, and enterprise software delivery.

Requirements

Experience in a client-facing legal tech or B2B SaaS role (implementation, onboarding, professional services, delivery, or customer success) and/or relevant legal experience.
Ability to understand legal contracts, negotiation positions, approval processes, and commercial workflows.
Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple implementations at different stages in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead scoping sessions, project updates, and training for legal, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
Sound judgment to distinguish genuine customer requirements from product limitations and identify opportunities for recommending better approaches.
Proactive, self-directed, and accountable working style with the analytical ability to turn ambiguity into a clear course of action.
Ability to learn complex software quickly and apply that knowledge across different customer scenarios.
Experience crafting effective prompts for AI systems, or a demonstrable ability to develop this capability quickly.
Genuine interest in the intersection of legal services, enterprise software, and emerging AI technologies.
An undergraduate degree at 2:1 level, a GPA of 3.5 or above, or an equivalent qualification.

Nice To Haves

An understanding of contract law and commercial agreements, or experience reviewing, negotiating, or supporting the negotiation of contracts.
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, legal operations, or legal technology.
Experience implementing enterprise software within legal, procurement, compliance, or commercial teams.
Experience in a high-volume implementation, onboarding, or professional-services environment.

Responsibilities

Develop deep working knowledge of the Luminance platform, including its core functionality, configuration options, and principal use cases.
Lead customer discovery sessions to understand objectives, contracting processes, user requirements, and implementation priorities.
Translate customer requirements into clear, scalable configurations, adhering to established implementation standards and best practices.
Manage a portfolio of concurrent implementations, ensuring they meet agreed timelines, milestones, and delivery outcomes.
Deliver training sessions to key customer user groups, adapting to different roles and levels of technical confidence.
Clearly and credibly explain platform functionality, behavior, trade-offs, and limitations.
Guide customers towards recommended best practices, constructively redirecting requests that could introduce unnecessary complexity or reduce long-term value.
Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and gaps early, providing clear recommendations for resolution.
Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to resolve issues and ensure a cohesive customer experience.
Capture recurring customer needs and repeatable patterns, feeding them back into the team’s playbooks and delivery processes.
