About The Position

At Solve Intelligence, we are building the AI-powered engine for the global Intellectual Property industry. We have real paying users, exponential growth, and a high-caliber team of AI PhDs and engineers. As a key member of our growing legal team, you will be at the center of our US expansion. You’ll partner directly with our GC, CEO, and CTO to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and accelerate our commercial engine.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited school and qualified to practice in New York.
5+ years at a top-tier law firm and/or high-growth in-house environment.
Proven track record negotiating complex B2B SaaS agreements.
Exceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI regulation and product counseling.
Background in IT security, data privacy, or corporate law.
Admitted to practice before the USPTO.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes B2B SaaS contracts with some of the world’s largest law firms and tech enterprises.
Provide business-oriented legal guidance to AI researchers and engineers to help shape the product roadmap safely and innovatively.
Navigate privacy (GDPR/CCPA), security reviews, and regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions.
Help build the policies and processes that allow a high-growth startup to scale from 400 teams to thousands.
Develop creative solutions for novel legal issues arising from generative AI.
