About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a motivated Legal Consultant – II to join their team. This role involves supporting the Court Order Compliance group in a high-volume environment. The incumbent will be responsible for data entry of legal processes into a workflow management system, handling calls, and ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to work independently, problem-solve, and utilize sound judgment. A willingness to learn basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures is essential. The role also includes compiling, verifying, and sorting information for computer entry, reviewing data for errors, and resolving deficiencies. Strong customer service or dispatch-like experience is beneficial for managing high call volumes.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply for Government Clearance.
  • Proficient typing and transcription skills.
  • Computer and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience a plus.
  • Paralegal Certificate is not required but any legal background, Education or Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors and correcting incompatibilities.
  • Resolving deficiencies using standard procedures or escalating to a supervisor.
  • Supporting the Court Order Compliance group.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Working independently and problem-solving.
  • Utilizing sound judgment.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as copying, filing, sorting, and mail distribution.
