The Legal Assistant provides administrative and legal support, including organizing case materials, conducting research, assisting with case preparation, and communicating with clients and legal professionals. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a reliable daily commute.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the legal field; personal injury experience is preferred.
- Legal administration and support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
- Demonstrated experience in personal injury law.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.
- Intelligent, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth within the firm.
- Ability to reliably commute daily to the on-site workplace.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish bilingual ability; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support.
- Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
- Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Perform filing, faxing, scanning, copying, and data-entry projects.
