We are seeking a Legal Assistant who is organized, dependable, proactive, and ready to make a meaningful contribution to our team. This opportunity is designed to support our paralegals and attorneys while helping keep client matters organized, accurate, and moving forward. Depending on your background and experience, this role may focus more heavily on legal support functions or administrative and client service responsibilities, with the opportunity to grow over time. Requirements

  • High school diploma required, additional education is a plus
  • Prior law firm, administrative, client service, or professional office experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Legal experience is welcome, but not required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office 365, Actionstep CRM, Attorney Fuel Intake Systems, HotDocs is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support paralegals and attorneys with estate planning, probate, and estate administration matters
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and current client files
  • Communicate with clients in a warm, professional, and responsive manner
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-up tasks
  • Track deadlines and ensure documents and tasks remain on schedule
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, filing, and records management
  • Assist with client intake and front-end administrative support as needed
  • Update firm systems and databases accurately
  • Help keep daily workflow smooth, efficient, and professional
