About The Position

Advanced Management Group seeks a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal operations across approximately 10,000 multifamily units in Nevada and Arizona. This position plays a critical role in managing eviction proceedings, court appearances, and legal compliance for our managed properties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor'sdegree preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in eviction processing or legalassistancein property management
  • Working knowledge of Nevada and Arizona landlord-tenant laws and eviction procedures
  • Experience appearing in court for eviction proceedings
  • Proficiencywith legal document preparation and court filing systems
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certificate or legal studies coursework
  • Experience with multifamily property management operations
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)
  • Familiarity with property management systems (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate with property management teams toinitiateeviction proceedings
  • Prepare, review, and ensuretimelyfiling of eviction notices in compliance with Nevada and Arizona landlord-tenant laws
  • Maintainaccuratetracking systems for all eviction cases across the portfolio
  • Follow up on served eviction notices and document all tenant communications
  • File eviction actions and related legal documents withappropriate courtsin Nevada and Arizona
  • Appear in justice court for routine eviction matters aspermittedunder Nevada law
  • Coordinate with property managers to gather necessary documentation andevidencefor court appearances
  • Communicate court outcomes and next steps to property management teams
  • Maintain organized case files for all legal mattersin accordance withcompany document retention policies
  • Prepare legal correspondence,affidavits, and court filings with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensure all legal actionscomply withFair Housing laws and applicable state and local regulations
  • Track and calendar critical deadlines for legal proceedings
  • Serve as primary liaison between property management teams, legal counsel, and court systems
  • Provide guidance to property managers on proper eviction procedures and legal requirements
  • Communicate case status updates to stakeholders ina timelyand professional manner
  • Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary for complex legal matters
