We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join a growing legal team. Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills
  • The ability to remain focused while reviewing high volumes of documentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to follow detailed processes and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • A desire to learn and grow professionally
  • No paralegal certificate? No legal experience? That's okay.
  • The aptitude, work ethic, and attention to detail necessary to succeed in a legal environment.
  • Ability to learn, think critically, and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing organizational documents such as Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, Operating Agreements, Bylaws, and Resolutions
  • Identifying missing information, inconsistencies, and potential deficiencies
  • Verifying ownership information, authorized signers, registered agents, and other key entity details
  • Following established review procedures and compliance guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation
  • Working closely with attorneys and legal professionals to resolve issues
