The Legal Assistant III also assists attorneys in meeting filing deadlines, maintaining calendars of legal dates, answering department telephones, and managing incoming mail. Additionally, the role involves maintaining office inventories and equipment, preparing requisitions, receiving and distributing supplies, reviewing invoices, and preparing and maintaining files. The position may also serve as the Mental Illness Coordinator and prepare legal documents for juvenile cases.
