About The Position

This position is for an Administrative Intern at the District Attorney's Office in Bell County, Texas. The role involves performing administrative tasks to support the department's goal of promoting and creating a safe community. The intern will be responsible for data entry, filing, maintaining records, photocopying, and distributing documents, as well as requesting information from other departments to complete records. Requirements

  • Requires High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Enters information into department programs and databases.
  • Prepares folders; maintains files of department correspondence, program records, legal documents, etc.
  • Photocopies documents and distributes and/or files.
  • Requests information from other departments as necessary to complete department records/files.
  • Performs related work as required.
