We are seeking a full-time, energetic Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Fairfax, VA, medical malpractice litigation defense team.
Requirements
- Litigation assisting experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, administrative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook with excellent keyboarding skills; typing at 65+/wpm, and the ability to process a high volume of dictation and transcription.
- Ability to manage multiple complex and concurrent tasks involving several stakeholders.
- Superior detail orientation and time management skills.
- Absolute discretion.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage documents by reviewing, editing, and proofreading in both electronic and paper format.
- Manage calendar and organize daily schedule of attorney.
- Preparing and drafting correspondence.
- Screen and manage calls.
- Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings.
- Manage travel arrangements for attorney.
- Develop documents and presentations.
- Ensure accurate file management.
- Enter time and billing information.
- Look for new methods and technology to increase attorney and paralegal efficiency.
